INTRODUCTION:
The ZMZ-002581 basis on the “FIELDBUS” topology (standardized as the IEC_61158) and PROFIBUS FDL protocols, includes one Human Machine Interface (HMI) for monitoring which is in the hierarchy located on the top, Central PLC(s) positioned in the Medium level of the schemed hierarchy, several control signals as the system’s outputs to the “AUTO_SHARING DEVICES” (to makes the generators synchronized) and also control signals to the Air Circuit Breakers to achieve the power switching in between the bus bars and consumers. Necessary designated alarms and monitoring points can be defined and assigned to several ACB(s) and Generators.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE:
The system consists of the central PLC(s) which are composing the PMS intelligent system as the higher layer and several Sub-PLC(s) which are connecting to the central PLC(s) as the medium layer, through the PROFIBUS DP. There is one set of HMI as the monitoring station, which will be located on the switchboard front panel door as the interface to the operators and will be connected to the central PLC(s) via MPI PROFIBUS data line. The interface to the exterior systems and Networks also two interconnections that have been established via PROFIBUS DP.
REDUNDANCY:
To ensure the redundancy to the ZMZ-002581, we have established two separate sets of CPU(s), which are working in parallel and independently, Two sets of Ethernet modules to exchange data in between the two sets of main CPU(s) and also for more safety reason, each Sub-PLC has been equipped with twin INTERFACE MODULE(s) working in parallel and communication will be achieved through two sets of separate CANBUS(s).
SEA TRIAL:
Several versions of the “ZMZ-002581” have been successfully designed, installed and commissioned for several types of vessels working in the different maritime fields of activities and necessary sea-trials have been done consequently.
